Christmas Vignette #1 Red & White

Hi there!  I wanted to share a little more Christmas cheer with you on this gloomy Saturday (it's gloomy here anyway).


Christmas Vignette #1 is part of my red and white candy motif (not candy canes) in my family room and kitchen. 


Last year I found these gianormous red candle holders at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $6 for the set.  They had been $59.  These are something I would never have purchased if not for how insanely cheap they were but I'm kinda liking them.  They definitely make a red statement.   I'm thinking I can probably use them for Valentine's day too. :)



I filled an apothecary jar with old red glass bulbs (only plastic for the kids tree!)...


I filled my small apothecary with a really long strand of red beads...




My cute skinny Santa (why is a Santa skinny?!?)



Then I added some garland that had more dead Christmas lights (Christmas lights 3, Me 0).  I replaced the dead lights of course.



I made a wreath from an old candle ring and a cheap $1 wreath from Wal-Mart and added a few of my cutesy candy picks from Hob Lob. 

The finished product...

    So cute! The red is great and I have been loving all the jars filled with fun Christmas decor this year. Just filled ours with some sparkly ornaments!
