I like to add some cheery color to my kitchen for Spring, usually green apple green. This year I decided to throw in some yellow with it too (I know, I'm so crazy adding 2 colors, somebody stop me!)
Most of the yellow went on my interchangeable DIY burlap wreath. I'll show you how I made it Spring-ish in a tutorial soon.
I didn't buy a bunch of new stuff, I just used what I had. I brought out my green ceramic birds that I put on candle holders last year. They fit perfect under my cloches after I boosted them up with an upside down bowl and the base of a candle holder.
I had an awful time trying to get a good picture of the console table vignette, lots of windows and lots of glass makes for lots of glare.
This plate is an old favorite from Pier 1 I got a few years back. I think they still have them in a few other colors this year.
My kitchen table centerpiece is randomness I threw together. One bird's nest with eggs, one old candleholder, one skinny cloche, one polka-dot plastic plate and a wreath around the whole thing. For randomness that I just threw together I really like how it turned out.
I'll be back with my wreath tutorial soon and a no sew burlap table runner.
Happy Spring!
