Hi there! How are ya?
If you follow me on Instagram you may remember when this happened...
Oh yes it did.
The wind caught my umbrella and shattered that sucker into a bazillion pieces.
Fun Fact: All of the glass from a large outdoor table can fit neatly into one 5 gallon bucket.
Anywhoo, this actually turned out great because I got Mr. Chic to build an outdoor Farmhouse table for us. I must say, it turned out FABULOUS! I didn't really like that crummy glass one anymore anyway.
Now, on to the decor!
Mr. Chic also made this rustic flower holder out of scrap wood and canning jars. Yes, I love it too.
I added zinnias from my garden for a colorful centerpiece. These blooms last a surprisingly long time when kept in water. I absolutely love them! The colors are beautiful and perfect for Fall...
Now, onto the rest of the patio. Which basically means things I set on the ground to decorate it. :)
I just love pumpkins. I think they are just pretty (even though I don't even like the color orange). The different colors and sizes of pumpkins naturally complement each other and make for easy decorating. Just stack them up.
Stick one in a lantern.
Pile them up around your mums.
Don't forget your mums!!!
They are so pretty and add so much color. You can even plant them at the end of the season and they'll grow back next year. How awesome is that?!
Don't forget about pansies! They are so colorful and will bloom sometimes through the first frost. Pansies sure aren't pansies when it comes to cold weather, they can take the cool, not the heat.
I hope you like my back patio Fall decor. I'll be back soon with more of my Fall goodies.
It's all gorgeous!! Your hubby is one talented carpenter! The flowers and the pumpkins add that fall flair and the aqua lanterns complement them perfectly!
