I can't believe week 3 is here already, I'm so excited about my tour this week! And, don't forget to check out all the other talented ladies linked up at the bottom of this tour.
If this is your first time here I want to welcome you and introduce myself... I'm Kate, an interior decorator, blogger, DIYer and stay-home mom once my boys get home from school. I have a weekly blog link up party every Friday called Flaunt it Friday. I hope you'll join me each week to link up or to check out all the great inspiration.
Anywho... I hope you'll enjoy the final part of my tour and if you missed the other tours, you can see Part 1 Farmhouse Shiplap Christmas Kitchen, and Part 2, Gold & Rustic Christmas Decor.
Let's check out my tour!
My office is the most bold and colorful room in my home and I like to keep my Christmas decor colorful as well. Since I'm the only girl I love to have a space where I can bust out a bunch of pink and girly looking stuff without thinking twice about it. I didn't do too much but what I did I really love.
This year I added a skinny little light gold tinsel tree that I love! Sorry you can hardly see it because the lighting is really blown out but we had crummy weather when I took these and lighting was ROUGH. But, you get the idea of what it looks like. Anyway, back to my little from a Dr. Seuss book looking Christmas tree... I got it after Christmas last year at Hob Lob for $20, which was 85% off! The box said the lights didn't work...
But they worked!!!
It is just the perfect size and color for my little office! And, I love that it doesn't even need any decorations but it still looks fabulous.
I got this cute deer pillow last year at Target and I love it! It is a pillow covered with beaded, rainbow colored deers. If you would've told me 5 years ago that in the future my favorite pillow would have rainbow colored beaded deers all over it I would have laughed in your face. But, somehow it's the truth. As trendy as it is, I love it and I left it out all year!
Is that weird?!?
I don't even care! ;)
Look how fabulous it is! And, it goes awesome with my watercolor pillow and all my other colorful stuff. #winning
Anywaaaay, I am loving flocked trees this year but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on buying a big faux flocked tree... such a big commitment to flock! But, this little one on my desk will do. It's so cute it doesn't even need ornaments.
I added some vintage ornaments in my favorite colors too. It's a nice contrast to my little white tree. In case you are wondering my son made the big circle art piece on the bulletin board behind my tree in pre-school. I loved the colors and he is so proud to have it displayed on in my office.
I added a little tree and vintage ornament on my side table for a little more Christmas cheer.
This black wall in my office is painted in chalkboard paint. Confession: It's been a couple years and I have yet to draw on it! I need to season it with chalk but have been putting it off as it looks so nice with the clean black paint on it. I faked it tonight with some chalk font and photoshop magic. Although, it's not very magical because you can pretty much tell it is photoshopped. Oh well, whatever. At least it's not blank, right?! I have not yet shared my office tour on my blog but look for it in the near future with real chalk writing on the chalkboard wall and everything (maybe, I may just keep it clean black!). :)
Well, that's it on my home office but check out this pillow I picked up last year...
Perfect for this Merry & Bright Holiday Home tour!
