Natural Healing for Sprains and Strains and Free Shipping this weekend!

Hey friends, Happy Saturday!!

Around here we are getting back into flip-flop season, WOOHOO!! I love wearing flip-flops even though they are the worst shoes in the world for you according to my doctor (and most podiatrists).  I also like wearing cute heels, don't you??

Anyway, these kinds of shoes are horrible for your feet but, I can't give them up. I almost had to give up flip-flops and other bad for your feet type shoes, aka: cute shoes, a few summers ago after I twisted my ankle. You can read the whole story here.  After a doctor's visit and being told to stretch and take ibuprofen I thought I was doomed to wear orthopedic looking shoes forever.

WHA?!

No heels or cute shoes forever or suffer foot pain that would make me limp!?

Really?!

Not happening.

I went on a search for alternative treatment for my geriatric acting foot.  I found essential oils.  I decided they really sounded too good to be true and some were crazy expensive.

I decided it was time for trying anything.  But, I wasn't sold on paying big money for something that may not work.  You guys, I searched and researched oil companies like crazy.  Lots of the cheaper oils are junk, fake synthetic filler with a few drops of the real thing (if you're lucky).  I found Spark Naturals and have been blown away with quality and prices.

I told you this story last year but I wanted to share again and update everyone that it still works.  I used Amend and had great results.  I still use the oil after I rock my too high heels and my foot gets that old familiar ache.  I also use it on any muscle strain and sprains.

I've started buying oils for allergies and to keep the colds and germs away and all kinds of other things.  I'm having great luck with the oils.  I'm not going to say that they are a cure-all or that you'll never get sick again but they really do help.

I am not a salesperson for Spark Naturals.  I am an affiliate for them now (it just means advertise them in my sidebar and I get a very small (like not even worth writing this blog post if I was doing it for money) commission for sales made using my link.  But, being an affiliate they also gave me 10% off code to offer my friends... use "CHIC" at checkout in the coupon code area.

I'm not talking about this stuff for money.  I've turned several friends on to them and I'd love to help someone else afford quality essential oils.  Because let's face it, if you're budget conscious like me, it's hard to drop $50 on one bottle of something you aren't sure will work.  Spark Naturals gives you the chance to try without busting your budget.  And just so you know, some oils that are very rare are $50 plus at Spark Naturals, but they are almost half the price of some other well known oil companies.  But don't let that scare you away, the majority of the oils are very affordable, I'm talking $10 or less for a small bottle of popular oils like Lemon, Lavendar, Peppermint.

They are having free shipping through tomorrow night for Mother's Day, it's a great time to give them a try.

  1. Hi Kate,
I'm stuck in orthopedic granny looking shoes because of repeated ankle injuries etc.
What oils do you use for your foot and how do you use them?

  2. I was wondering the same thing. How do you know which oils are for what. I use oil of oregano for my back pain but don't know about anything else. Can you help?
