Black and White Merry & Bright Holiday Home Tour Part 2

Hello, there!

If you are stopping by from M. Jones Style welcome and thank you for stopping by!

Welcome to part one of the Merry & Bright Holiday Home Tour. If this is your first time here let me introduce myself.  I'm Kate and I'm an Interior Decorator, blogger, and boy mom.  I host a blog party every Friday called Flaunt it Friday. If you blog I'd love to have you stop by and link up with me every week.

Today I am sharing my home office but last week I shared my living room Christmas decor.  My living room is my "fancy room" (named by my children) with my more formal tree, this year I used blush pink as an accent color, please check it out here.

So, my living room is a little more formal and the rest of my house is a little bit more modern farmhouse.  Except my home office. My home office is my "wild" room.  It doesn't really go with the rest of my house but I don't even care. It it is much bolder.  I am the only girl in my family so I decided to use a lot of pink, gold, black and white and whatever my little heart desired. :)

The walls are painted in wide black and white stripes.  I used all kinds of fun artwork in gallery wall corner. When I found this champagne colored tinsel tree I knew it was perfect for it!  It adds the perfect amount of twinkle to a room filled with bold colors.  And, it needs no ornaments! Since I already have two other big trees to decorate this suits me just fine.

I got these fabulous pillows from BohoLuxe.  Look at this fuschia luxurious plush velvet pillow with these amazing tassels.

I am in love with these cute and funky tassels!  Plus, they are removable so I can hook them to something else if I really want to.

I also chose this BohoLuxe African Paint Pillow, it goes great with the velvet pillow and my entire office.

I like to add a little flocked tree to my desk, too. The circular artwork behind the tree was made by my son when he was in preschool if you're wondering what that is :)

My cute gold side table (similar here) gets a little touch of Christmas too.

One wall in m office is black chalkboard, so that is fun too!
